Brief: “You’re on Your Own”: Something reflecting your own creative interest, strengths and direction for next year.
I am exploring the theme “Exotic” through an illustrated narrative in book form. A tale of discovery, fear and placement. “IMAGINE”: Campaigning for support in reviving Imagination Lab, a Vega Outreach Programme that recognised and empowered talent from underprivileged backgrounds. Underresourced school learners visualise on a provided mural the potential of Imagination Lab and its students. “Sponsored equipment” at the annual Vega Showcase is in the hopes of returning next year utilised by Lab students.
INSPIRATION (click image to enlarge) - Another discovery from the art museum that is my grandmother’s home. Six magnificent French tapestries as cards. Read more (here).
